Friday Inspiration: Quotes About Summer

Ah Summertime, the time of year where the days are hot, the sun shines brightly, the humidity in, at least Southeastern, NC, is enough to make you yearn for Air Conditioning, and the days are long and lazy! A time of year every child waits impatiently for through the end of the school year.  A time of year parents loath at times as they scramble to find summer camp, plan vacations, and try to not lose their minds.  For us summer means camp for the kids, work going on for my hubby and I, and weekends spent at the beach!

I am sharing two things here with you this week – quotes about Summer and some videos of my favorite Summer time songs!

I hope you Enjoy!

A look at the Budget

“Summers means happy times, and good sunshine.  It means going to the beach, going to Disneyland, having fun”

 – Brian Wilson

Summer Afternoon

“Summer Afternoon, Summer Afternoon: to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English Language”

 – Henry James

Sit in the Grass

“Summer is the annual permission slip to be lazy.  To do nothing and have it count for something.  To lie in the grass and count the starts.  To sit on a branch and study the clouds”

 – Regina Brett
