Friday Inspiration: From The Girl Scouts to Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today I am taking a page from two inspirational people in history, one maybe a little less known than the other, but both have had an impact on American Society nonetheless.

Juliet Gordon Low

“Right is right, even if no one else does it.”

-Juliette Gordon Low, Founder Girl Scouts of America

GS Logo

“Badges mean nothing in themselves, but they mark a certain achievement and they are the link between the rich and the poor.  For when one girl sees a badge on a Sister Scout’s arm, if that girl has won the same badge, it awakens an interest and sympathy between them”

-Juliette Gordon Low, Founder Girl Scouts of America

And I believe that everyone knows this Gentleman and the vast impact he’s had on all of us

MLK Black & White

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy”

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

Silence is not a solution.

“In the end, we will remember not the word of our enemies, but the silence of our friends”

-Martin Luther King, Jr.
